This machine belongs to a great musician living here in Spain, Rob Neild. Although the machine powered up, no transport operation was present. Looking at the main board, there had been a small bonfire around the capstan motor speed control circuit. Chopping out all the bad bits and fitting some equivalent power and driver transistors, brought the machine to life. A good clean, head polish and demagnetise, all were happy.
