Nice machines and very desired. I use one as part of my HiFi system. This machine came in having not been used for several years. The pinch roller was the most obvious fault. One of the green ones, it had turned to jelly and left a mess all over the chassis. Heads did not seem to be too worn. So, new roller fitted and a play of the tape gave poor results. The heads had to be polished with rouge and demagnetised. Now we had good audio. A few tweaks of the record and playback boards and the machine worked well. Oh, and the brakes adjusted. Never would have passed a MOT.
