This is the best of the “Cocktail Cabinet” radiograms ever produced. Dating around 1956-1960, these sets were very popular with the West Indian community and other people with taste. These radiograms produced very rich bass, using a cleaver positive and negative feedback arrangement around the output transformer. Listening to Ska, Rock Steady and Prince Buster on anything else other than a Blaupunkt radiogram is strictly forbidden. When the crystal glasses in the cocktail cabinet section start jingling to the bass, you realise that life is worth living.
